Le titre lui-même fait tache. Le mot s’efface devant l’énigme de l’image.On perçoit des textures, peau et textile, caresser la surface de l’écran.La résonance du choc d’un bâton délivre le son de sa source. Un rire passager, le froissement emporté d’un papier, le geste du travail annoncent subrepticement l’effacement définitif de la pellicule blanche (l’image ?) qui fait écran au regard : l’artiste peut alors s’autoriser à inscrire son nom sur le bas de la page. |

The title itself is like a stain. The wood is erased before the enigma of the image. We see textures, skin and textile, brushing the surface of the screen. The echo of the impact of a stick delivers the sound of its source. A passing laugh, the frantic rustling of paper, and the work gesture all surreptitiously announce the permanent obliteration of the white film (the image?) which acts as screen for the eye. The artist can then permit himself to write his name at the foot of the page. |
| Der lautmalerische Titel selbst ist wie das, wofür er steht: ein Fleck. Das Wort erlischt vor dem Rätsel des Bildes. Wir sehen Texturen, Haut und Stoff , die die Oberfläche des Bildschirms streicheln. Der Nachhall eines stampfenden Stabes befreit den Ton von seiner Quelle. Ein flüchtiges Lachen, rasch knitterndes Papier, geschäftige Gesten künden vom endgültigen Auslöschen des weißen Films (des Bildes?), der dem Auge als Fläche dient: Jetzt kann es sich der Künstler erlauben, unten auf der Seite zu signieren. |
