qui se veut indiscutable.
Dans "abécédaire" les 26 lettres, 26 mots
et 26 prises de vue s'embrouillent. Les explications sont absentes,
les références sont obscures, évidentes et
changeantes. Les images laissent un arrière-goût d'absurdité et
de solitude, mais aussi d'enjouement. Bien que prévisible
la fin reste sans conclusion. |

Sie konzentriert sich auf die wichtigsten Elemente und ordnet sie
zu einem eindeutigen System.
In "abécédaire" jedoch geraten 26 Buchstaben,
26 Wörter und 26 Einstellungen durcheinander. Erklärungen
bleiben aus, die Bezüge sind undurchsichtig, offensichtlich
und wechselhaft. Die Bilder hinterlassen einen Beigeschmack der
Sinnlosigkeit und Einsamkeit, aber durchaus auch Heiteres. Obwohl
vorhersehbar bleibt das Ende doch ohne Schluss. |

It contains essential facts and sorts them into a system that is supposed to be indisputable. In abécédaire, the 26 letters, 26 words and 26 shots are shuffled. The explanations are missing and the references obscure, obvious, and changing. The images leave an aftertaste of incongruity and loneliness, but also of liveliness. Even though the end is predictable, it has no real conclusion. |
