Während in der ersten Fassung der Videoinstallation die Windmühlen noch als konkrete Objekte im Raum präsent sind und in die Betrachterrealität hineingreifen, werden sie in dieser dritten Version nur noch durch das von einem Projektor wiedergegebene Motiv ihres Flügelschlags angedeutet und verbleiben auf der Ebene der Fiktion. Demgegenüber zeigt ein Monitor einen potenziellen Angreifer, der mit einem Stab auf etwas schlägt, das sich außerhalb des Bildausschnitts befindet. Dem Flattern, Reißen, Krachen und Schreien nach zu urteilen, scheint ein Kampf zwischen Angreifer und Windmühlen stattzufinden, auch wenn diese sich unbeeindruckt weiterdrehen.

While in the first version of the video installation the windmills are still present in the space as concrete objects and reach into the viewer’s reality, in this third version they are only suggested by the flapping motif reproduced by the projector and remain on the level of fiction. In contrast, a monitor presents a potential attacker who is beating some- thing with a lance that is outside the image on the screen. Judging by the thrashing, ripping, cracking, and shouting, it appears that a battle is taking place between attacker and windmills, even though these unperturbedly continue to turn.
