La longue marche

1987 - 9 min.

+

A duet of screeches for two feet on a snow covered road with short interludes on tiled flooring and one-legged solos. A rhythmic composition which arranges strong and weak, slow and fast tempos, which are sometimes syncopated. A chaotic march past, both visual and acoustic, somewhere between an overture and a finale for sky stained with white clouds. Walking is no small matter when orientation and effort take over from the destination.

Translated from the French by Simon Pleasance & Fronza Woods
