Die Installation Vom Winde verweht zeigt ein auf einem Stativ befestigter Lautsprecher, der in Richtung einer gegenüberstehenden Leinwand ausgerichtet ist. Das Bild auf der Leinwand zeigt das im Wind wehende weiße Tuch; der Ton, das Flattern einer Fahne im Wind, strahlt auf die Leinwand und scheint die Bewegung des Bildes zu verursachen. Es handelt sich hier wie in den Installationen L'Albatros oder Le Fardeau um eine Reflexion über die Wirkung des Mediums auf die Realität bzw. auf die Realität des Gezeigten.
The installation Gone with the Wind shows a loudspeaker mounted on a tripod and directed towards a screen opposite. The image on the canvas shows the white cloth blowing in the wind; the sound, the fluttering of a flag in the wind, radiates onto the canvas and seems to cause the movement of the image. Here, as in the installations L'Albatros or Le Fardeau, it is a reflection on the effect of the medium on reality or on the reality of what is shown.
