Some thoughts on film: Reflexions on car and eye. Everything starts with the funeral march whistled by M, the murderer. The soundtrack conjures up a History of the Cinema before the figures of oblivion are displayed on the screen,a memory of numerical data. The electronic screen then becomes a theatre of military operations, creating images in shredded bits and pieces. The very Lang-like theme of guilt takes shape: is electronics responsible for the death (present? imminent?) of the cinema?
